My work examines stereotypical indicators of maleness and femaleness in ways that confront the gendering of certain colors, materials, and objects. Imagining gender expression as a performance of one’s identity, I use a variety of gendered materials to examine how outward presentation can convey identities that may not fall under the binary of male or female.
